In September of 2023, my husband and I embarked on a new adventure - the enchanting world of collecting rare aroids. These captivating plants quickly captured our hearts and ignited a profound obsession within us. The sight of new leaves unfurling, showcasing unique variegations, velvety textures became the highlight of our days. We quickly became obsessed with making moss poles and creating our own chunky aroid mix to help our plants grow and thrive. As our collection grew to over 100 plants in January 2024, so did our desire to share the beauty and mystique of these rare aroids, moss poles, aroid mix and planty things with fellow enthusiasts. With a deep-rooted passion in our hearts, we decided to establish an urban oasis, affectionately named "Britney's Urban Oasis," where these extraordinary plants could find sanctuary and be admired by others.
